A WORD ABOUT SAFETY
The equipment you are about to receive has been fully tested and made "Rental-Ready" for use. Be sure to fully understand the piece of equipment before using. If the explanation is unclear, please do not hesitate to ask for further instruction.
Be sure to pay close attention to all warning labels that may appear on the equipment. They have been put there with the operators’ safety in mind.
Never modify or change a piece of rental equipment. Industrial equipment has been rigorously tested with all parts intact. Changes or modifications to the equipment can result in injury.
In cases where written instructions have been included, please take the time to read and understand them. They will help reinforce the verbal instructions.
SAFETY MESSAGES & SAFETY EQUIPMENT
The rental contract that you will sign will list the rental item(s) that you are to receive. Some items have safety messages on lines below them. These messages are not meant to be all inclusive, but be sure to read and follow them.
Many of the messages recommend that you wear some type of safety equipment. For your convenience, we stock many safety items for sale at all locations. These items include earplugs, hearing protectors, dust masks, respirators, goggles, gloves, and more. Always use safety equipment to protect yourself from injury.
When renting equipment, you will usually have the option to print out a users manual with your contract or you can refer to the website and look for a link on the item to an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) training and safety video. It is best to familiarize yourself with the use of your rental equipment to ensure yours and other’s safety as well as not abusing the machine.
